It’s early days but this seed of an idea has taken roots! We’re VERY excited to announce that North Sydney Council is supporting the non-profit Sydney Library of Things and will be providing a space at The Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability. We plan to open in June!
We’ve even had our first donation….a soldering iron (with solder) from Michael! Stay tuned as we get our website built and we collect and sort the collection. A library of things doesn’t exist without ‘things’……so if you have some good quality equipment taking up space, we’d love to give it a home. Items do need to be donated to the library, rather than lent. They’ll be lovingly cared for and available to all library members for borrowing. We’ll also mark each item with your name as a record of your contribution to the community.
